  • Processing capacity: 1,400 Nm³/h raw biogas
  • Feed-in capacity: 700 Nm³/h biomethane
  • Start-up Date: 2011

In the new harbour of the city Schwedt, Brandenburg, a new megawatt biogas plant is currently under construction with downstream biogas upgrading for the production of biomethane. Building owner is the GASAG AG from Berlin which makes a further step in supplying their customers with climate-friendly natural gas.

The biogas plant with all in all eight tanks will produce aprox. 1,650 Nm3/h raw biogas. The input materials include renewable raw materials such as maize, grass and whole plant silage. The raw materials come from the direct surrounding area.

The biogas upgrading plant produces approx. 700 Nm³/h natural gas which is fed into the gas grid of EWE AG. The whole turnkey plant meets the highest industrial quality demands regarding its functionality and represents the capability of the MT Group.
