An on-site existing biogas plant based upon waste products supplies the gas upgrading plant in the administrative district of Ludwigslust, Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, with approx. 1,000 Nm³ raw biogas per hour.

The gas upgrading plant is optimally matched with the special requirements of the waste gas. Specially adapted devices for the separation of the trace gas in the whole plant have been integrated.

The injection of the biomethane is carried out into the regional 16 bar natural gas grid. A characteristic of this is the downstream backwards compression in the grid to the next higher pressure level.
