Gas injection plant

The gas injection plant conditions the biomethane to the required quality. Thus, the combustion characteristics of the produced biomethane have to be set exactly to the quality of the receiving gas grid. This is carried out by admixing of air or liquid gas and dried and desulphurised biogas.

MT-Biomethan delivers the complete and integrated whole plant system. Friction and windage losses through plant construction interfaces are thus minimized.

An injection plant consists of the following components:

  • Quality measurement of biomethane
  • Conditioning of biomethane : if necessary by adding of liquid gas
  • Compression (two redundantly designed compressors )
  • Drying
  • Process gas chromatograph, approved for the measurements subject to legal controls of the fuel value,
  • the standard density and the share of carbon dioxide
  • Odour system: gases of the public gas supply according to the worksheet G 260 of the German Technical and Scientific Association for Gas and Water (DVGW) have to have a sufficient odour (warning odour). Otherwise, they must be odorized.
